I anniversary of opening the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic.

On June 11th 2010 in the building of Stara Gielda on Plac Solny in Wroclaw we celebrated I anniversary of the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Wroclaw. Invited guest were, among others, noted personalities of the public life, friends of Maciej Kaczmarski: Chamber of deputies deputy Stanisław Huskowski, Associate Director of the II Territorial Department in Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic Ministry Janka Burianová, Vice President of the city Wroclaw Jarosław Obremski, Treasurer of the city Wroclaw Marcin Urban, III Sekretary in Embessy of the Slovak Republic in Warszawa Matúš Bušovský, honorary consuls of the Slovak Republic from Gliwice, Poznan and Wroclaw, rectors from Wroclaw universities. A special guest was Jan Nowicki a famous polish actor.

Mr Kaczmarski in his speech summarized a year of operation of the consulate. Janka Burianová who read a congratulatory letter from State Secretary in Foreign Affairs Ministry Ol’ga Algyerova and Jarosław Obremski, who mentioned the honorary consulate activities and cooperation of the consulate with city Wroclaw.

After the official part the guest were invited to see a photo exhibition about the consulate’s activities.
