Trip of children from the children’s home in Wrocław to Slovakia.
Children from the Centre of Care, Education and Adoption in Wrocław spent 2 weeks in Slovakia at an international children’s camp organised at the Bešeňová Thermal Park by the company Eurocom Investment s.r.o. The trip was co-financed by Maciej Kaczmarski, Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic to Wrocław.Ten children from the children’s home in Wrocław went to Slovakia on Friday, 11th December. They spent 2 weeks at our southern neighbours, at an international children’s camp organised for children from Serbia, Croatia, Ukraine, Iraq, Slovakia and Poland. Before going on the trip, the children from the Centre of Care, Education and Adoption in Wrocław visited the Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic and observed the work of the Consulate and the National Debt Register, where Maciej Kaczmarski is the President of the Supervisory Board.
During their stay in Slovakia, all campers, grouped according to their nationality, were to prepare a presentation about the culture of their country. It helped the children from different countries to get to know each other better and to make friends. There were also many attractions for the children from the children’s home, which were undoubtedly a source of unforgettable memories. A visit to the toboggan run, thermal baths, castles and caves, mountain trips and go-karting – are only some of the attractions. The young residents of Wrocław stayed in Slovakia until Christmas Eve, which they spent together with their peers from other countries.
