Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Wroclaw Maciej Kaczmarski participated in a solemn celebration on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, held on 14 May 2017 in the cathedral of the Polish Catholic Church, Maria Magdalena. During the ceremony sermon was delivered by Bishop Ragnar Persenius from Uppsala in Sweden.

After the ceremony, the restored epitaph of Jan Hess, the first Lutheran priest of Wroclaw, was unveiled.
